About Hawley, Massachusetts

Hawley is a town of 36 square miles and 350 residents, located directly south of Charlemont which is on the Mohawk Trail between Greenfield and North Adams, Massachusetts. Placed in wooded hills with sharp ravines, there are many brooks and waterfalls, some old farms, many dirt roads, and lots of quiet. Hawley is also located in what is called the western Franklin County or "West County", an area increasingly known for its eclectic mixture of traditional rural New Englanders and artistic, creative newcomers.

Hawley is the home of the Tregelly Fiber Farm where llamas and angora goats graze with sheep of many colors.

Hawley is the home of the Sons and Daughters of Hawley, the local historical society where the diverse residents of Hawley mingle with Hawley enthusiasts from far and near.
